Rehabilitation for animals is similar to Physical Therapy for humans. Goals are to promote normal healing after an injury or surgery; decrease pain; improve/normalize mobility; and provide client education.
Personalized 1:1 sessions, tailored to your pet’s specific needs. Treatments may include:
Manual (hands-on) therapy, such as stretching, massage, joint mobilizations, and range of motion activities
Therapeutic exercises, designed to enhance flexibility and strength
Help with assistive devices, such as braces, support harnesses, and dog carts/wheelchairs
Owner education and home exercises/management programs
For new clients: All services require a referral from your veterinarian. The referral can be found here. Prior to your initial evaluation visit, please download and complete your new client form, which can be found here.
